Codeverse—The world’s most immersive coding studio for kids
Codeverse is the world’s most immersive coding studio for kids ages 6-13. Every object in the studio can be controlled by coding lessons, allowing kids to learn in a creative environment full of cutting-edge technology. Coding teaches important life skills beyond the computer screen. It encourages creativity, instills confidence, and promotes critical thinking and problem solving. In other words, Codeverse gives kids the confidence and skills to change the world.

After creating their successful home base in Chicago, Illinois, Codeverse wanted to expand their reach but needed help creating a more affordable, commercial grade, but just as cool, prototype design. Onyx Creative worked with Codeverse in turning their first location into a branded prototype store, transforming existing tenant spaces in Naperville, IL and Wilmette, IL into the new modern environments. This new prototype environment has led Codeverse one step closer to their ultimate mission: teaching a billion kids to code.
The new stores pair clean geometries and technology with natural elements such as the green wall in the lobby and the increasingly dense organic carpet pattern in the studio area. Custom upholstery pods are detailed inside of the walls – a perfect spot for a kid to cozy up with an iPad. A wall of switchable glass separates the lobby from the studio area, giving kids privacy to focus on their lessons while lounging on the large custom sofa in front of the main screening area.
