Perigold

From e-commerce to luxury retail experiences.

Our team acted as the architectural partner for Perigold’s first brick-and-mortar store, marking a significant milestone for its parent company, Wayfair, as it transitions from pure e-commerce to physical retail experiences. Situated in the heart of Houston’s Highland Village, a well-known destination for upscale shopping, the nearly 20,000-square-foot space combines the digital ecommerce brand with an in-person, luxury shopping environment.

The project began by demolishing the existing structure and creating a clean, white-box shell. From there, we adopted a collaborative, design-as-you-build process, working closely with the Perigold team to develop the interiors in real time as construction progressed. This flexible approach allowed us to respond to changing program needs, refine details during construction, and ensure the physical space aligned with the brand’s evolving retail identity.

The resulting store offers a tailored retail experience. Layouts are curated to feel personal and residential, showcasing furniture and decor through styled vignettes that mirror the level of craftsmanship and refinement behind Perigold’s collection. The boutique-style setting is supported by in-house designers who guide customers through a hands-on, consultative process, helping translate Perigold’s online offerings into real-world spaces.
