Two apartment buildings, housing 38 units, sit on top of a parking podium on a narrow lot in Ventura, CA. This narrowness forced the space between the two buildings to be designed as a dense urban experience. This experience focuses on creating interesting visual rhythms so that the journey from an apartment to the garage is full of dynamic movement. The design of multiple routes throughout the building also encourages exploration and discovery.
