Onyx Creative created a unique brand identity for Golden Gate shopping center in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Branding and signage services included working with the client to create ideations for a logo design, signage design options, and typography selection. The new brand was then used on the monument and blade signs throughout the shopping center. The branding portion was part of an architectural renovation to the entire shopping center that took home the award for Retail Exterior Renovation Project of the Year at the NAIOP Northern Ohio Chapter Awards in May 2019. The long monument sign and landscaping at the front of the center serves a dual purpose. Not only is it a unique and contemporary design element, but it also hides the typically long drive-thru line coming from the Chick-fil-A that recently opened, which is centrally located at the front entrances to the center.
